Venue: Estancia La Jolla
Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa is a luxurious, hacienda-style resort nestled on 10 acres of lush, botanical gardens near Torrey Pines and UC San Diego. Built on the cliffs of La Jolla on the site of a historic equestrian estate, the AAA Four Diamond property blends laid-back Southern California charm with elegant Spanish colonial architecture, featuring terra cotta pathways, tranquil courtyards, and cozy adobe fireplaces. Airport & Getting Around
You will fly in and out of the San Diego International Airport (SAN). It’s approximately 30-45 minutes to the hotel depending on traffic. Ubers are plentiful and easy to call from the airport and hotel!

What to Pack
You can expect mostly sunny days with high temperatures comfortably in the mid-70s to low-80s (around 24-28°C), and evening lows dropping into the low 60s (around 16-17°C). Because San Diego has coastal and inland microclimates—and because the temperature drops as soon as the sun sets—the golden rule of packing here is layers. Evenings get cool and so are meeting rooms! Dont forget to pack for your activity, the Monday night Surf theme dinner, and then the Yacht Rock party on Tuesday evening (see the Agenda detail for more information!)
Tuesday Afternoon Activities
One of the things we work hard to do at every Base.Camp is to create unforgettable, interactive experiences to complement all of those strategic conversations. During our famous Tuesday afternoon Base.Camp adventures and excursions, we set aside those discussions to do the equally essential work of coming together as a true community of humans who share common goals.
If you ask anyone who’s attended a Base.Camp before, they’ll be the first to tell you that these are where some of the most valuable memories are made, new relationships are forged, and existing bonds are strengthened, making up the foundation of the work we must accomplish as a whole. We’ll share soon what’s on deck for La Jolla.

Pacific Beach Half Marathon
Sunday the 4th, Melissa and Jeff will be joining the Pacific Beach Half Marathon, starting at 6:30 at Crown Point Park. The marathon will travel from Crown Point Park to Pacific Beach, taking you along the waterfront, passing SeaWorld, Hospitality Point, the West Mission Bay Drive bridge, and Mission Beach.
