WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
We can’t wait to see you at Base.Camp San Antonio, Sunday, March 1, to Wednesday March 4, 2026. If you’re attending, here’s everything you need to know before you get here, along with resources to help you make the most of our time together.
Venue: Omni La Mansión del Rio
Nestled along San Antonio’s scenic River Walk in the heart of downtown, Omni La Mansión del Rio offers an immersive blend of history, elegance, and effortless access to the city’s top attractions. Originally part of the St. Mary’s campus, the property dates to the mid-19th century. Its Spanish Colonial Revival architecture, courtyard fountains, archways, and warm tones evoke a timeless hacienda charm.
On-site dining includes Four Brothers (Southern, Latin, French influence), Ostra (with an oyster bar), El Colegio Bar, and a poolside bar serving light fare and drinks. Amenities include a heated courtyard pool, seasonal poolside service, full fitness center, and access to Mokara Spa (located nearby).

VIPs & Supporters
WHO ARE VIPs?
Base.Camp VIPs and supporters are solutions partners who are fully committed to our community-focused approach to problem-solving in our industry. Their goal of attending isn’t to pitch publishers. Instead, they’re joining us as equal participants in the conversations and collaborations we’re architecting for our week in San Antonio.
GET TO KNOW YOUR VIPs
If you’d like to get to know our VIPs before we come together in San Antonio, here is a comprehensive overview of the VIPs who will be joining us. It includes information about the individuals attending, the organizations they represent, and what you need to know about who they are, what they do, and who they serve.

What to Pack
The weather in San Antonio will be in the low 70’s and high 60’s during the day, and cooler in the evenings. Don’t forget layers for the conference center since meeting rooms are always cold.
MONDAY NIGHT
We’re taking over the Buckhorn Saloon & Museum for Texas Independence Day, and this place is pure San Antonio. Don’t forget to bring your cowboy boots, hats, jeans, pearl-snap shirts, the whole western kit. If you own it, wear it. If you have ever wanted an excuse to wear it, congratulations, you just got one!
TUESDAY NIGHT
We’ll start with dinner aboard the San Antonio River Barges, so bring a light jacket for the cool river breeze. After that, we’re heading to Hopscotch, an interactive art and event venue. Wear black with lots of neon accents. Also, bring socks and shoes. Some areas of Hopscotch require socks only.
WATER BOTTLE
We won’t be providing yet another water bottle for your collection, so don’t forget to bring your favorite from home!
